Do you need an intermediate switch?

This is a Georgian antique brass intermediate toggle switch — a lever-action switch rather than a standard rocker.

You only need an intermediate switch if you have three or more light switches controlling one light. In that case, the middle switch (or switches) needs to be intermediate, with the two end switches wired as standard two way switches. See our intermediate switch guide for full detail.

It's fixed to a solid brass plate with an antique brass finish and Georgian rope-edge design.
