The plates can differ as to what type of metal are made up from, G&H Brassware use use four different types of steel to manufacture their plates, mild steel, steel, brass and copper. 

Can you use metal sockets and switches?

You will only be able to use our range of metal sockets and switches if you have an earth connection. 

An earth connection is a wire that provides an electrical connection to the ground. The reason behind an earth wire, is to protect against accidental electric shocks. If you are unsure whether you are able to use our range of sockets and switches, please consult your qualified electrician who will be able to assist you further.
