Oversized Sockets and Switches
We have a wide variety of oversized sockets available to buy, in a number of different styles and finishes.
Oversized sockets and switches can be used for a variety of things, but typically they are used to cover problems when replacing sockets, often with the plaster surrounding the sockets or switches. These ranges all fit into standard sized back boxes, but are slightly larger than a normal 85mm x 85mm or 146mm (w) x 85mm (h) sockets and switches.
They also give a different effect and these plates are a lot more noticeable than your standard sockets and switches and stand out a bit more. With a larger faceplate, weather it's to cover up a mistake or just because that's what you were going for, they sure are a spectacular choice.
We have the following ranges as oversized sockets and switches. Please note, you will not be able to fit these plates side by side in a twin box, as they will be too wide.
