What are Floor Lamps?

Floor lamps are tall lights that are placed on the floor. They are a great lamp to have in almost any room, as they are flexible and moveable lights. 

Why Use a Floor Lamp?

Floor lamps are a great way to add depth of light to a room. They are not constrained by the position of ceiling roses or tables, meaning you can place them anywhere in the room.

We recommend using floor lamps to either lighten darkened areas of your room, or to add mood lighting to your room. This is especially useful for your lounge or living room, where you don’t always want to have the main light on for the whole evening. 

They can also be a great source of light for task lighting too, for instance when you want to read or sew in an evening, and wan to project light on to your seating area.
