We’re not ones to be glum, so while others feel 2016 has been a year to forget, we had a great year. We managed to increase the ranges we offer, reduce the price of postage, increase the number of items available for next day delivery and improved the delivery times on many of our made to order products. We’re also a positive bunch, so we didn’t want to rest on our laurels in 2017. We love to listen to feedback to see how we can make things better to you, our customers. As a result we’re please to announce we now have three improvements when buying from Socket Store. Lower Discount Levels While we have always tried to keep the costs down as low as possible we were also keen to offer a discount where possible. In days gone by we were able to offer an additional discount on 100 sockets and switches in one order, however we thought it would make life easier and our customers happier to simplify our discount offer and to make it as easy as possible to have the discount applied to an order. As a result we have launched a new discount structure. From now on you will be (automatically) given a 5% discount on any order over £500. Better still you will be given a 10% discount on orders over £1,000. These discounts are automatically applied to your shopping basket, so you don’t need to do anything extra, it will be automatically applied to your order if you qualify. 5% for orders over £500 10% for orders over £1,000 Better Returns Policy We’ve always been as generous as possible when it come to returns. We appreciate it sometimes take a while to get around to sending back any unwanted products, especially if you’re in the middle of a project. While we have always prided ourselves on our 30 day policy we appreciate this is now the law, so we are not offering anything extra. As a result we’re happy to say we are now accepting returns for 45 days after your order has been delivered. Don’t forget, we can still only accept returns for items that are in their original packaging and have not been used/fitted. This obviously doesn’t cover any faulty items. This is covered under our warranty. Please read more on that below. 45 Day Returns Policy Improved Warranty We are very proud of the suppliers and manufacturers we work with, and we really believe they produce quality products. They all offer a 12 month warranty as a minimum, however we want to offer a little something extra. As a result, and as further backing to our great manufacturers we are improving our warranty to 2 years (48 months) for all our products. 2 Years (48 Months) Warranty Conclusion We hope you like our changes.
